Richard Hobbs of England

Richard Hobbs was born 1644, probably in England. His personal station in life is not known for certain. However, Richard was probably a Puritan; as he migrated to the Northern Neck of Virginia and married the daughter of a Puritan.

In about 1665, Richard immigrated to Rappahannock Co VA where he married Mary Meador b. c. 1641 Elizabeth City VA. Richard and Mary lived the remainder of their lives in Rappahannock Co VA where Richard died in 1683.
