Diah (0Research) Waters of Virginia

Diah Waters was born in about 1758, probably in Virginia. In about 1783, Diah married a woman named Catherine. Diah is first found enumerated in the 1794 Loudoun Co VA Tax List. Where was he before his arrival in Loudoun Co VA?

From an 1812 land sale we learn where Diah lived and who his neighbors were. Diah continues to appear in tax lists with different sons until 1815. In 6/1818 Catherine is listed as widow of Diah Waters of Loudoun Co VA.

There is an additional Chancery suit which can be found in "Index to Loudoun Co Chancery Suits" by Hiatt and Scott: Page, Wm B. 's Admr vs. Walters, C &c; Case # M 2694; completed 1818.
