Descendants of George Turner of Virginia

Union Flag of England and
Scotland (1606-1801)

Generation #0

Benjamin (0Dad) Turner

I found some information on your web site that has been a great help to me and I wanted to ask you a few questions.  You show a George Turner born in 1695 in Virginia and four children.  I think (hope might be a better description) that he is one of my ancestors.  I had the DNA testing and my earliest confirmed ancestor is William Turner who was born in 1645 in Scotland.  He died in Calvart County, Maryland, which is adjacent to Virginia.   He had a grandson named George Turner born in 1695.  I am hoping this is the same George Turner you have in your genealogy, that you indicate was born in Virginia in 1695.

I have traced my Turners back to a Benjamin Turner, born around 1745 in Bertie County North Carolina.  At some point Benjamin moved to Greenville, South Carolina.  Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
