Zebulon (2Zebulon, 1William) Savage, Jr.
Zebulon Savage was born 1/4/1779 in Guilford Co NC. Sometime before 1790, Zebulon migrated with his family to Laurens Co SC and is enumerated with his family in the 1790 Laurens Co SC Census.
In about 1798 in Newberry Co SC, Zebulon married Rebecca Cox b. 5/30/1780 Newberry Co SC. Zebulon and Rebecca are enumerated in the 1800 and later Laurens Co SC Censuses. Unfortunately, Rebecca died 6/9/1835. Being a widow with children, Zebulon married Elizabeth Pinson in about 1838.
Afterward, the family migrated to Tuscaloosa Co AL in about 1842. Of note, sons Wiley and James were already in Tuscaloosa County by 1839. Did Zebulon migrate down to Alabama to be near his sons? Zebulon and Elizabeth lived the remainder of their lives in Tuscaloosa Co AL where they are buried at Sandy Springs Methodist Church.
