Engeltje (1Cornelis) Cornelis (Janszen) of New Amsterdam

Engeltje Cornelis was born in about 1669 in Manhattan NY. Later, her name was Americanized to Angelica.

Eneltje is first documented on 11/6/1692 in Bergen Co NJ by her marriage to the widower, Daniel DeVoor b.  c. 1660 Palatinate of the Rhine. Daniel and Engletje migrated by 1723 to the Dutch community of Minisink in Hunterdon (now Sussex) Co NJ.

Daniel and Angelica lived the remainder of their lives there. Daniel's will was written 10/11/1729. Angelica died sometime thereafter.

11/6/1692. Daniel De Voor (widower) and Engeltje Cornelis,
with letters from the French Church at Kinkachgemeck, Bergen County.
They were married by R. Van Giesen, Voorlezer.
