Nathan (³John, ²John, ¹Research) Evans of Licking Co OH

Research Note: The date of birth for Nathan is questionable. From the census, we calculate his DOB as 1822/23. However, other researchers have his DOB as 3/5/1828. The 1828 DOB fits with the information from the 1840 Licking Co OH Census.

Nathan Evans was born 3/5/1828 in Columbia Co PA. And sometime after Nathan's birth, the extended Evans Family migrated to Licking Co OH.

In about 1848 in Licking Co OH, Nathan married Althea Wheeler b. 4/8/1829 in Licking Co OH. Nathan is first found in the 1850 Licking Co OH Census. Connection between Nathan and John, his father, comes from both men being listed in Washington TWP with the profession of blacksmith.

Nathan is last found in the 1880 Licking Co Census. Notably, son-in-law William Fry is found living in the home. Nathan died 10/25/1890 in Licking Co OH
