Maria Elizabeth (1Johan Andreas) Frey

Maria Elizabeth Frey was born 1723 in Bischofsheim, the Duchy of Wurttemburg. She emigrated with her family in 1733 to Philadelphia PA aboard the ship Samuel. 

In about 1739 in Lancaster (now Berks) Co PA, Maria Elizabeth married Johannes Conrad Grimm b. 6/1/1717 Berwangen, Duchy of Wurttemburg.

Maria and Conrad settled across to county line in what would become Northampton Co PA. Maria died in Northampton (now Lehigh) Co PA. Conrad has a marker at the family farm, and Elizabeth is believed to be buried with him.

Rosina [Besinger] was born 23 Jun 1763 in Lynn Township, now Lehigh County, christened on 4 Jul 1763. Elizabeth GRIMM was sponsor, she was the widow of Conrad GRIMM who was buried that day. . . .
