Edward Dennis (2Dennis, 1Dennis) Mullin
Edward Dennis Mullin was born 4/11/1860 in Woodland Twp, Decatur Co IA. In 1876, the family migrated west to Taylor Co IA where he grew up on the family farm.
On 10/5/1886 in St. Rose of Lima Church, Denison IA, Edward Dennis married Ellen "Nell" Maloney b. 1862 in Illinois. Ellen's family had settled in Crawford Co IA. When Ellen met Edward Dennis, she was living with her aunt and uncle and working as a "servant" in their household in Maloy, Ringgold Co IA.
Edward and Ellen farmed land which they leased from the Shay Family in Taylor Co IA. The family stayed on the family farm until Edwards death in 1915. The family then moved to the town of Maloy, just across the county line in Ringgold Co IA.
