Jacob (²Anthony, ¹Jacob) Miller

Jacob Miller was born on 10/2/1786 in Hardy Co (W) VA. In 3/1817 in Hardy Co (W) VA, Jacob married Sarah Wilkin b. 1/17/1795 Hardy Co (W) VA.

In 1817 Jacob and Sarah migrated to Coshocton Co OH. With this date of migration, the family would have had an easier migration route by going west on the extension of the Pioneer Road to its intersection with the Cumberland Road and then west to Zane's Trace into central Ohio.

Jacob and family are first found in Coshocton Co OH where they were enumerated in the 1820 Census. And before 1824, Jacob and Sarah migrated to Licking Co OH where they lived the remainder of their lives, raising at least nine children.

Jacob died 7/2/1853. Sarah died 1/16/1877, both in Licking Co OH.
