Note: Information on the Taverner and Webb families is conjecture. To date there is no proof that the Taverner and Webb families intermarried. However, there was a familial relationship as proven by existing wills.

John (3John, 2Giles, 1Richard) Webb of England

John Webb was born in about 1675 in Rappahannock Co VA. In about 1699, John married Ann Taverner b. c. 1780 in Rappahannock (now Richmond) Co VA. His wife's name as Ann is partly derived from daughter Rachael naming her first daughter Ann.

John died before 2/1729 in Essex Co VA.

Inventory of estate of John Webb of Richmond County dated October 30th, 1725 as ordered on September 1st, 1725. Death Bef 1 Sept, 1725. Adminstatrix is Barbary Webb; William Smith, the mark of Edward Cyzent, William Degges. Recorded __ November, 1725.

There is another inventory recorded on the same page in Will book 5 which appears to be a "further inventory of Webb", presumably John as it is recorded at the same time. it was recorded 1 Dec 1725, by James Suggitt [brother-in-law], John Hammond and Giles Webb.
